Cross-Creative Storyteller
Screenwriter
The craft of conceptualizing complex characters and putting my wild imagination on paper is one I’ve devoted my undergraduate career to strengthening.
Since my acceptance into UNC-Chapel Hill’s Writing for the Screen & Stage minor, I’ve developed a variety of scripts through intensive workshopping with professor and peer-review elements.
“Master Screenwriting”, the minor’s capstone, asks each student to write their own full-length feature film screenplay.
Blank Space earned a final grade of 95%, the only writer to surpass a B+ in my course of 17 students.
Title: Blank Space
Logline:
When a single, drunk, and debt-ridden twenty-something must return home to her quirky suburban family after six months estranged, her life of lies begins to unravel.
Premise:
When a family emergency interrupts 22-year-old Blake Worth’s life of booze and boys, keeping her trainwreck life a secret becomes harder than she thinks.
Back home in Scarsdale, New York, the perpetually hungover and broke Blake must face her highly successful, polar opposite sister Corinne, while also coming to terms with her father Gus’ impending death.
Just as the Worths go around in a circle, taking turns as they each share their wish for what could have been… BEEP…BEEP: Gus is alive.
Miraculously, the Worths are left with an opportunity to repair the past and mend their broken family through the completion of a Reverse Bucket List, a.k.a. the RBL.
In one week, the Worth family must work together in order to fulfill each family member’s wish of what could have been.
It’s up to Blake to decide whether she wants to buy into the adventure or tap out… all while hiding her incessant urge for a drink.

Me Too Monologues 2022
I was one of 7 students at UNC whose original 5-minute monologue was chosen to be produced by Kenan Theatre Company, a top undergraduate/professional theater group in Chapel Hill.
“Numb” tackles the challenging theme of addiction through a snarky, comedic lens.

Singer / Songwriter
When I was 12 years old, learning my first chord on the ukulele, I found within myself an ability to pair this tune to words; a talent for making a melody.
Eager to develop this skill at UNC-Chapel Hill, I enrolled in classes like “The Analysis of Songcraft” and “Advanced Music Production”. Over time, I independently wrote a number of finished songs in a variety of genres ranging from blues to folk.
In August 2023, I released my first single “History” on all streaming platforms. Just one month after its release, my folk-pop ballad “History” has amassed 3.2k+ streams and a listenership of 1.2k+ people.

“History embraces a lovely folk style, accompanied by exceptional vocal delivery and compelling narratives…
We’re genuinely impressed.”
- Chalkpit Records; independent UK record label and music blog
UNC-Chapel Hill published an in-depth interview highlighting my journey from songwriting class to Spotify.
I independently executed a strategic promotional campaign in order to maximize listenership and audience engagement.
I used my background in graphic design to curate my cover art and all promotional materials.

Podcaster
The podcasting world serves as a constant reminder to me that whatever I want to learn is right at my fingertips; chasing down the information just takes ambition.
Compelled to pursue this passion at UNC, I enrolled in a podcasting class where I mastered the ins and outs of audio engineering on Adobe Audition. Finally, I had the tools to bring my own idea to life.
I scripted, narrated, and produced two 10-minute-long episodes of “Plastic Peoples”: a podcast that explores plastic surgery’s evolution from a medical necessity to an aesthetic upgrade.
How have we, as a society, gone from seeing our bodies and faces as our lifelong identities, to taking them merely as suggestions?
By blending my passions for voice acting, writing, and audio engineering, I independently curated a cohesive podcast that tells a compelling story, earning a 98% on the final exam.
“This should be required listening for everyone in America…
Your first episode set the standards high, and this is an extremely professional and engaging follow-up. Well done.”
- UNC Professor Andreley Bjelland on Plastic Peoples Episode 2

THE IDW2DY STORY
Throughout college, I saw so many young females
to their shared frustration with the skewed power dynamics existing within contemporary “hookup culture”. They felt objectified, less than, powerless.
I coined a joke with my friends about college-aged women’s collective need for a slogan that could restore our agency. One that could break the outdated conception of a young woman’s need for validation; say, a sweatshirt with ‘i don’t want to date you’ proclaimed across the front. Soon, I realized that what I had initially regarded as just a joke, seemed to actually resonate with people.
I spent the summer of 2022 collaborating with Kenyon College artist Maya Sapsford to conceptualize and fine-tune resonant designs that could bring my idea to life.
Come September, I launched i don’t want to date you (IDW2DY): a leisure clothing brand for the woman who “embraces her intrinsic worth and individuality”.
I independently executed cross-country merchandise operations and social media marketing, amassing 250+ Instagram followers immediately after initial launch.
Achieving profitability just 2 weeks after going to market with a profit margin of 25%, I saw first-hand how to build an idea from the ground-up.
